Welcome, Dr. Pete! A fresh era of spiritual leadership begins at LCC
Can you feel the anticipation in the air? We sure can. We’re overjoyed to introduce Dr. Peter Rasor, our new Senior Minister, affectionately known to us as Dr. Pete. His arrival ushers in a new era of spiritual leadership at LCC, built upon a deep well of academic knowledge and seasoned ministry experience.
A message from Dr. Pete: Embracing change while honoring our past
Change is inevitable and often bittersweet. As we say our goodbyes to Tony, our beloved minister, we welcome Dr. Pete with open arms. Here’s a special message from him:
“We recently had a bittersweet farewell for Tony. We felt sorrow at his departure but immense gratitude for his devoted service at LCC. Now, as we look forward, we pray for Tony and Debbie as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
Remembering Ephesians 4:1, ‘live a life worthy of the calling you have received,’ I am eager to begin my journey as your new minister. I hope that together, we can grow stronger in our faith, embrace this new chapter, and continue the great work Tony has begun.
For the next few Sundays, we’re going to explore a sermon series titled ‘Why Are We Here?’ This question isn’t just important for us as individuals, but for us as a church family. It’s a wonderful chance to reflect on our mission and the broader purpose of Christ’s church.”

It’s time to bring out your calendars! Mark the date – June 25. We’re excited to announce our Grillin’ and Chillin’ BBQ event! Expect a day filled with delicious BBQ, engaging activities, and a bouncy house that’s sure to delight the kids.
Picture the early church from Acts 2:46-47, where they “broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.” That’s the exact spirit we aim to channel at our event.
Imagine the warm sun overhead, the smell of BBQ wafting through the air, and the joyous sound of laughter all around. You won’t just be enjoying good food and company; you’ll also get a chance to get to know Dr. Pete and his family better.
