Tony’s LCC Updates 9/7/18

Dear LCCers,
I ask for your prayers for me and Deb on Sunday, we plan to be in Monroe preaching for that church’s Homecoming. Deb and I served there for 23 years before we came to Lilburn. As you pray for us, pray for Josh, who will be preaching here on Sunday!
And give him a double portion of your prayers–he and Ashley (and Fiorella Morgan) leave today for a Middle School Retreat at the Camp! At last count 15 of our Middle Schoolers were going, and they all plan to return Sunday morning in time for church. I am grateful for Josh’s service here!
On Saturday (tomorrow!) we plan a Work Day here from 9 am-12 pm. Lunch will be served. We have a variety of projects needing attention inside and out, and your help is appreciated.
Then, next Sunday, September 16, is our Homecoming! Our theme is “Forever Family”, and I hope you are praying for this event and planning to be here! We our working toward a great worship service followed by a Potluck Lunch (bring food!), and I encourage you to be here and bring as many with you when you come as you can.
My love to all of you! I ask our Lord to bless you and refresh your spirit as you walk with Him today! Here’s a marvelous verse to carry with you through the day: “To Him Who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy–to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.” (Jude 24)
