Tony’s LCC Update 12/7/18

Dear LCCers,
Tonight is the night! I urge all LCCers to make plans to be here tonight at 7:30 pm for the first presentation of “A Christmas to Remember”! This is a marvelous program of music and drama, which presents the thrilling story of God’s sending us a Savior in a powerful and meaningful way. Our Choir, Orchestra, Tech Crew, and Drama people have been working and praying about this for a long time! I hope you and your friends and family and guests will plan to join us tonight! This is an “All Hands on Deck” event! You are needed!
We plan to present “A Christmas to Remember” also on Saturday and Sunday nights at 6 pm each night. I hope you’ll come and support this program all 3 nights! You will be lifted spiritually and be glad you came.
I’d like to ask each one of you as you read this e-mail to stop and take a minute to pray for this program–that those who need Christ or a church home would be here and be touched; that the program go well, and that all who participate in it and witness it would be blessed; and that, above all, Christ would be glorified.
Speaking of prayer, plenty of LCCers need some. I know of a family in distress right now that need the power of the Lord. Jamila Coleman, Wayne Starling, and Paul Macheski are recovering from surgery this week. Others are grieving, or awaiting test and treatment info, or in need of a job opportunity, or are in need of a fresh touch of love and grace from our Lord. Thanks for your prayers!
Thanks for your prayers for our church. Our 2019 Budget was approved last Sunday. Now all we have to do us support it with our giving! I look forward to great things being accomplished for our Savior in 2019. Our message series, “My Gifts to Jesus”, is a reminder that we all have received tremendous blessings from our Lord, and it brings joy and fulfillment when we have opportunity to give to Jesus. It is His birthday.
Thanks for your prayers for me. I’ll look to see you tonight, Saturday, and Sunday–
